The FMCSA has ordered two motor carriers Vallise Automotive Group, USDOT No. 3547547, and Central Logistics, Inc, USDOT No. 354960, both owned by Matthew Tabner, to cease all operations as of January 23, 2021.
An investigation by the Montana Department of Transportation found widespread safety violations. The violations included failure to have a systematic inspection, repair, and maintenance program. They allowed a driver to drive a commercial vehicle that was placed out of service. The investigations found that the company failed to ensure only qualified drivers with CDL’s operate on public roadways. This violation included the company allowing a 16-year-old to operate equipment over 25,001 lbs. The companies failed to implement a drug and alcohol program and failed to dispatch drivers so they could work within hours-of-service regulations.
